About

Michal Wieclawski is a Polish-born solo artist and performer, currently in the final year of the actor-musicianship course at the London College of Music. Notable alumni of the institution include musical legends such as Freddie Mercury and Ronnie Wood. Growing up in Lowicz, he was exposed to the vibrant folk culture and music that would later influence his artistic vision.

At the age of six,

Michal began his musical journey with piano lessons at the Center of Culture in Lowicz. Since then, he has been honing his musical skills in singing and dancing, specializing in modern dance, contemporary, and hip-hop, earning several national and international awards, including 1st place in ZNTS Jazz Championships in Poland and 2nd place in the JFMD World Championships „Jazz Solo Competitor” in the Czech Republic. Alongside his achievements in dance, Michal has also garnered  valuable experience in acting, featuring in numerous TV commercials and shows. His passion for acting began at the Harmonic Acting Studio in Warsaw, where he embarked on an exhilarating journey of self-discovery.

“This place has been and remains special to me, serving as a vehicle towards the pursuit of truth about oneself. It exposes you to everything, breaks you down to your basic components, and rebuilds you anew.

While pursuing his artistic aspirations,

he also earned a degree in Chemical Technology from the Warsaw University of Technology. However, driven by a thirst for adventure and creative exploration, he relocated to London, where he has since continued to refine his craft and push the boundaries of his artistic abilities. He recently appeared as a queen footman in the highly acclaimed series, “The Crown 5”. In the coming year, Michal is set to star in the series “We Were The Lucky Ones”, directed by Amit Gupta. Inspired by the true story of one Jewish family separated at the start of World War II, the series features an all-star cast including Joey King and Robin Weigert.

“I’m not afraid to openly acknowledge that my ambition grows with every achievement. I aspire to encounter the right individuals and to be in the right place at the right time while remaining true to myself throughout.”

As a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter,

Michal composes his own music, constantly seeking new sounds and experimenting with his artistic expression. He emphasizes simplicity with elements of contemporary and powerful sound, drawing inspiration from film music and artists such as Jeff Buckley, SYML, and Hania Rani.

In early October 2022, Michal premiered his first original song “spring in me”, which is now available for streaming on major platforms. This project, a collaboration with British music producer Martin Luke Brown, is a preview of his upcoming EP album.

I don’t want to limit myself and be confined to a particular music genre; it’s very unfair. I value the creative process very highly, perhaps even more so than the final outcome itself.”
